Sherryen Mutoka

Kigali, Rwanda

Originally from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Sherryen rejoined MASS as a Structural Engineer Junior Associate in March 2018 after interning with MASS during the summer of 2016.

At MASS, Sherryen will be working on the Rwanda Institute of Conservation Agriculture (RICA) project. Sherryen received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Design and a minor in Corporate Practice at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana in 2017. Throughout her studies, she had the opportunity of working with AutoCad drawings, calculation reports, Finite Element Modelling programs, geotechnical design and biomimicry research. In the future, she plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering. Prior to MASS, Sherryen has also studied abroad in Rome and Australia where she spent time researching the value of emulating nature in the built environment and biomimicry.
